Exceptional Psychotherapy. Thoughtfully Personal.
Exceptional Psychotherapy Starts With Exceptional Clinicians
Unlike conventional telehealth platforms designed around high-volume care, our private-pay model prioritizes clinical expertise, thoughtful therapist matching, and meaningful therapeutic relationships. By investing in our clinicians and creating an environment that supports their best work, we are able to attract highly experienced psychologists, clinical social workers, marriage and family therapists, and professional counselors with advanced training and specialized expertise.
Our clinicians bring sophisticated, individualized approaches to psychotherapy, drawing from evidence-based, relational, somatic, trauma-informed, and insight-oriented traditions. Rather than fitting clients into a standardized treatment model, we prioritize the depth, flexibility, and clinical judgment that exceptional psychotherapy requires.
We believe the quality of care begins with the quality of the clinician—and we've built our model around that belief.
Our Team
Alexis Leima
Alexis Leima founded WellxNess after 15 years in technology startups, where she worked as a software engineer, engineering manager, and director of engineering. Those experiences gave her a firsthand understanding of the demands of high-responsibility work—and how easily personal well-being can become secondary to deadlines, decisions, and the needs of a team.
A large-scale company layoff prompted her to reflect on the support people need through professional uncertainty and change. She saw an opportunity for a more personal approach to mental health care: one that recognizes the relationship between work and well-being without reducing someone to their job title.
Through WellxNess, Alexis is building an experience centered on thoughtful therapist matching, private online care, and attentive coordination. As Founder and CEO of WellxNess LLC, she leads the non-clinical business and technology operations, supporting independent clinical partners in delivering care that feels human, considered, and built around the individual.
